NFL Legend Fred Biletnikoff Talks Football & Keeping His Daughter's Memory Alive

August 26, 2019

Fred Belitnikoff's wife Angela swears her husband missed out on a career as a standup comic. He did pretty well in his chosen career as a wide receiver in the NFL....

Fred played in three AFL title games, five AFC championships and two Super Bowls (he was MVP of Super Bowl XI). He is a Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee, the Oakland Raiders all-time leading receiver, and never played in a losing season with the Raiders. In 14 seasons, Fred only missed eight games because of injury.

20 years ago, Biletnikoff lost his 20 year old daughter. Tracey Biletnikoff was recovering from substance abuse and working to pay it forward to other young girls. She was strangled by an intoxicated boyfriend that she was trying to help get back into rehab. The Belitnikoffs have dedicated their lives to keeping Tracey's dream alive through The Belitnikoff Foundation and Tracey's Place of Hope.

I hope you enjoy my chat with this kind, funny, dedicated legend!
