Radio Fantasy Camp Guest Host #151: Tom Acevedo

May 9, 2019

Joining us this week on Radio Fantasy Camp is Tom Acevedo! Tom grew up in North Sacramento, but currently resides in Lodi. He will always consider North Sacramento to be his home, and the home of his early music roots where he attended rock shows at the Shire Road Pub, Oasis Ballroom, and the El Dorado Saloon.  He is a retired Stockton Police Officer and a licensed Private Investigator. Now that he is retired, Tom has plenty of hobbies to keep him busy. He enjoys going running, fishing, and mountain bike riding. Every year, he participates in the Bay to Breakers run, and will be taking part in it for the 36th consecutive year. Tom is also the president of the Tokay High School Music Department in Lodi, and helps fundraise for equipment and uniforms. He made his first radio debut as a student DJ at Del Rio High School, which was assisted by Russ Soloman of Tower Records, and we are excited to welcome him back to the world of radio! Some of his favorite Classic Rock artists include Blue Öyster Cult, AC/DC, and Pat Benatar. Will he pick and play some of your favorites?

Tune in at 10am!
