Radio Fantasy Camp Guest Host #143: Sandy McKeon

March 14, 2019

We have Sandy McKeon visiting us this week on Radio Fantasy Camp! Sandy is originally from Portland, Maine, a city that she will always call her beloved home. She currently resides here in Sacramento, where she works as a Claims Supervisor for an insurance company. One of her favorite outdoor activities in Sacramento is going cycling on bike trails, especially the American River Bike Trail. In addition to cycling, Sandy is passionate when it comes to writing. She has published two "metaphysical thrillers" and two poetry books, most of which were inspired by Stephen King. Sandy has even mailed him a copy of her book, Resurrection Sunday as a thank you for his work. On top of being a published author, Sandy had the opportunity to co-write, produce, and star in a feature length film called Adelle. Although the film was never distributed, she enjoyed a full-on red carpet premiere in Downtown Portland when the film was released. Her creativity doesn't end with being a talented writer, Sandy has recorded a song that her father wrote while deployed in Vietnam titled "The Brink of Nuclear Disaster." We are excited to see the playlist she has prepared for us! Some of her favorite Classic Rock artists include David Bowie, The Who, and The Rolling Stones. Will she pick and play some of your favorites?

Tune in at 10am!
